Tucked right on the water at Guilford Lake in Hanoverton, Ohio, The Lazy Snail is a newly renovated, three-bedroom retreat cottage offered free of charge to pastors, their spouses, and families. Whether you're looking for solitude, a sabbath with your spouse, or a quiet break together as a family, this is your space to slow down, breathe deep, and simply be. No expectations. Just rest.
Need to retreat? You’re invited.
We offer a limited number of 5-day getaways throughout the year for pastors, spouses, and families. There’s no cost to stay, but we do ask for a refundable $500 deposit to hold your spot. If you arrive, we return it. If not, it becomes a donation to support others’ rest. The cabin is available every two years per household, and first-time guests are prioritized.
