Pretty Good Pastor’s purpose is to honor and support pastors.
We exist to champion pastors, ensuring they feel valued and energized in their vital roles. We cultivate spaces for restful breaks, meaningful relationships, and genuine renewal, empowering them to serve with fresh energy. By offering genuine community, moments of rest, and renewal retreats, we help spiritual leaders rediscover joy and focus. Our heart is to see every pastor thrive with a fresh sense of purpose.
Our Story
Pretty Good Pastor Ministries was born out of a desire to celebrate the unsung heroes of the church: pastors faithfully serving small and mid-sized congregations, often with little recognition or fanfare. In a culture obsessed with big numbers and flashy success stories, we offer a different narrative—one that values faithfulness over time and the everyday moments of ministry.
Inspired by the biblical parable of the talents, we embrace the idea of being a “two-talent pastor”—not defined by size or status but by stewardship and impact. Nearly 60% of churches in the U.S. have an attendance of 60 or less, and another 35% are under 500. These pastors are the backbone of the Church, yet they often face burnout, isolation, and a lack of appreciation.
Through renewal retreats, acts of generosity, and intentional encouragement, we aim to refresh pastors’ spirits and remind them of their unique gifts and callings. At Pretty Good Pastor Ministries, we believe faithfulness is always worth celebrating—because being “pretty good” is actually pretty amazing.
